Just a quick note in between work, parenting, writing and everything else – I have two panels I am hosting at Mobi – one is an hour long discussion of ways to bring realism to your setting, characters and dialogue. A while back, I announced that I had been invited to be a guest at MobiCon XVII. The only local convention in Mobile, AL (that I know of) that covers Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Horror, Art and Media of all kinds, MobiCon is a staple of small conventions in the south.
I will personally be hosting a few panels (details to be announced soon on this website) as well as helping judge the annual Costume Contest. Along with a friend and fellow writer, Mr. Dean Harrison, we will also have a merchandise table. I have lots of surprises and goodies planned, so mark your calendar for May 23rd, 24th and 25th, and join me at the Riverview Plaza Hotel in beautiful Downtown Mobile for MOBICON XVII ! Yes, I am still putting work into Book Three, and plan to have it out later this year. In the meantime, I am starting a new project that I need your help on. As of tonight, I am accepting short stories (ten to twenty pages) that are set in the zombie Apocalypse. I am taking all settings and styles, and each will end up being framed in an overall story arc. Ultimately, only seven to nine stories will be accepted for publication, and they will be subject to editing (working with the authors of course). Well Ladies and Gentlemen, MAYHEM has proven to be not only popular, but has lit the proverbial fire under my behind to complete Book Three. Today, a milestone has been reached – Murder: Book Three of the Dark Zone Trilogy, now has an ISBN number. Currently, the release date is set for late May, 2014.

Soon I will be making a special promotion for MADNESS and MAYHEM for the holidays. Sale prices, and special items such as bookmarks, trading cards and more, will be offered. Email me for early details (or be patient and wait for annoucements here!)

Well, October has come and gone faster that you can say ‘Discombobulated Airedennium’, and now we grow close to Thanksgiving, The Holidays (Christmas, Kwanza, Hanukkah, Solstice, etc…) and the upcoming new year. I have many exciting things scheduled for 2014, and will start announcing them soon. In the meantime, hope you had a great Halloween, and that your Thanksgiving plans include a feast for the heart as well as the stomach.  The kids and I are playing around with menu ideas, so any off teh wall suggestions are appreciated.

The book signing in Ocean Springs was not only a success, but we all had a wonderful time. I met some very interesting authors, and acquired some new readers as well.  I will be posting pictures from the event soon.

Also, there are some very interesting potentials in the works… so stay tuned. Many plans are coming together, thanks to the unique and fantastic people I have in my life.
